Does Anybody Know How Much Laser Eye Correction Surgery Costs? thanks

Is vision-correction eye laser surgery safe? Long term effects? Cost? Looking for answers from people who've undergone the procedure or from trained medical specialists.

What is the price range for laser eye correction surgery in general? Also how does it work? Im looking to get lasik surgery (a.k.a laser eye correction) but i was wondering if anyone has had it done, how much it costs on average? Also, if you have had it done, could you explain what you went through before and after and if you would recomend it to someone?

How much does Lasik/ Laser vision correction cost? I recently won a raffle for a free laser surgery, they are sending me a certificate for $1000. I'm pretty sure that it is going to cost more than that for both eyes. I know is is more expensive the worse your vision. I have -5.15 apx. in both eyes, no Astigmitism. Can anyone tell me how much it cost you? Please no, ''... I'd guess its about $xxx...'' and I'm not going to fly to India to have it done. Thanks in advance to all of you who help. I know to research the place and check it out before I commit to anything. I've looked online for costs, but everything I find says I'd need a consultation. I have one scheduled with this place on July 12th, and I'd like to have an idea before going in. I just want a ball- park number from people who have had it done.

Anyone had laser eye surgery/Lasik/vision correction? Just curious how much it costs? My insurance covers 15% of the costs if I do it with a doctor they approve of. Thinking about getting it done later this year.

Laser Eye Vision Correction? If laser eye surgery is so widely available, list some reasons why so many people today still wear glasses and contacts if their vision is correctable. I already know some factors; Cost and Young age, but what prevents everyone from getting it? What are some limiting factors? And why can't older people with failing vision have it restored to 20/20 with laser eye correction? Ok, so another factor is risk and personal preference to wear glasses, but besides that, what are other reasons? Come on, no one knows? Has teh interwebz truly failed me?
