Dailies Contact Lenses

How come they don't make Acuvue 2-dailies?

I saw that there was acuvue 1-day but no Acuvue 2 for it. Isn't Acuvue 1 slowly being removed?

1. Acuvue 1 day...doesn't mean it is Acuvue 1.... The 1 day disposables are the same lens as the accuvue 2... The 1 day is just for the convenience of not having to buy cleaning solutions. If you wanted to, you can use the 1 day the same length of time as the Accuvue 2, by storing them in a disinfecting solution at night. Johnson & Johnson won't admit it, but the Acuvue 1 is probably going to be gone once they have used up all their stock. Already, they won't send trials for us anymore.
2. They are actually the same material. Hence there isn't much differences. Proclear 1 day would be a good dailies lenses to try out.
