  1. I asked my husband who uses them and also cleans them nightly. He said a month.
  2. If you clean your contacts well, you can well them past the usual two weeks. I wear the Acuvue Dailies (dispose of everyday) and I wear them for a week. As long as they are still comfortable, I would still wear them. Just make sure you don't sleep in them and you see your eye doctor regularly. I have worn Acuvue 2 for up to a month.
  3. 12 hrs is a lot and the lesser u wear them, the better just a note lol u usually wear them until they get uncomfortable and its totaly fine i have 2 week disposable contacts and i can wear them for a month ive been doing this for 3 yrs and my eyes have been fine but if ur a litte shaky on this u can wear them as long as the contacts packet says u can
  4. Acuvue 2's are a 2 week lens. You can sleep in them, but if you sleep in them and leave them in all the time, they become a 1 week lens. The reason is that you put yourself at a higher risk for some serious infections the longer you keep the lens. Not sleeping in them lets your eyes breathe overnight, and it also gives your lens time to soak in solution and clean the grit out. If you sleep in them, they build up deposits faster. Your eyes are tough organs and don't always let you know when something is wrong. By the time you 'feel the lens is uncomfortable,' sometimes permanent damage has already been done. Kind of like when you feel thirsty, your body is already dehydrated. Just as a general rule, stay with what your eye doctor says you should do when it comes to how long to keep contacts or if you can sleep in them or not.
  5. I wear acuve 2 contact lenses to and you should change them every two weeks. Sometimes you can wear them for longer periods of time with no problems, but you could also scratch your cornea. So you could wear them for longer, but there is a high risk of damaging your eyes so just to be on the safe side I would just follow the directions and throw them out after two weeks.
  6. just listen to ur eye doctor
