Why do I always blink when inserting my contact lenses?
Today, it took me 20 minutes to get my contact lenses in. And I lost two of them already because I kept blinking as I was inserting them in the middle of my eye. It's so annoying, but I really like them, because afterwards, I hardly feel anything. Whats the easiest to apply them without just shoving them in the middle of my eye? I tear ALOT so it's quite a problem. They're Focus© Dailies contact lenses. Thanks for your help and advice :)

- just a natural reflex.....u r anticipating the discomfort or what have u
- I agree with the person before me...its just natural...just slow down and take your time...soon youll be able to do it with out blinking...least thats how it wasa for me! For me I have to look straight ahead and put them in but for my boyfriend he looks off to the side and puts it on the white part ...then closes his eye to allow it to move in place...you may need to blink a few times!
- Because you ont like putting them in and its not the easiest of things to do .
- I spent a fortune on them so that I could snorkel on holiday. I got one in one night, pure red eye and couldn't do it again. Some of us are just not happy about putting things in our eyes and that's that. I couldn't line them up properly on my finger tip either. Maybe if you just do it without thinking about it too much before hand? Though I'm hardly an expert!!
- are you sure you used your fingers to separate your eye lids? and make sure its opened WIDE because thats what happens to me if i dont have my eyes held open(: hope that worked
- Control your lids by holding them to the bone with your finger.
- try putting them in off to the side and kind of slide them halfway over they should adjust themselves
- It's natural to blink when something is touching your eye. Even if it's designed to be on your eye! Instead of applying it directly in the middle of your eye, try turning your eyes to look to the side and apply it on the side of your eye as opposed to the middle. When you have it on there, turn your eye in the direction the contact is and it should fall into place. Try this out a couple times as it takes practice!
