What are real world implications of the relationships between math and music?

How could discovering how math works in music make an impact on our daily lives? How could it make an impact on life in general?

1. it doesnt really make an impact but it helps ppl write songs and compose/sing music

5. well to read music you have to know how many beats the note gets. that's found in the key signature. so when you know and understand the math in that you can sing and play music, that's the reason we can hear music people have to study that for our entertainment.
6. When I discovered there are only 12 notes I went quite literally insane, projecting that number onto anything and eventually creating a "Da Vinci code" of music which implies that Louis Armstrong is the messiah. I'm better now though.
