What is going on in the world ? (real stories in the news yesterday)

People are killing each other for no reason ! Examples : Canadian Bus massacre - guy goes nuts and stabs the guy sitting next to him for no reason.Then, beheads him. Guy kills his girlfriend and dismembers her body. Then, gets caught with her torso in his suitcase. He said she threatened to tell the cops he was a drug dealer ! Seems like the whole world is getting more and more evil on a daily basis.Why do you think people are doing these things to each other ?

1. Stuff like this has always been going on. You just hear about it more in the media.
2. I think that the world has lost hope. Perhaps we are about to see a revival?
3. Things like that happen everyday . It's no surprise.
4. I think evil has been unleashed on the unfaithful people. Choose who you are, and who you call friends in this dispensation. Surround yourself with good people, and stay true to your Christian values. We will be alright. But, I agree, so many evil people surround my life, at work, in the public, and in my city. We must stay the course though, and be aware of where we go. Let you Christian light shine so others can know whose you are.
5. People are becoming more godlike.
6. No different from yesterday was or tomorrow will be again! The world is full of f***ing nutters! Just don't add to their numbers by being religious!
7. Unfortunately there has always been mentally ill people making evil choices. There is more media these days so we hear about more.

I tell my husband, (who is not of the same Christian faith as I) "Hold on to ur socks, it's going to get alot! worse." From ur Q, it seems like u have noticed things getting worse. Have u not? noticed, it's speeding up?
10. Bad stuff like that has ALWAYS been happening. But I can understand your shock. You'd think people would be more gentle and compassionate these days. But the truth is, no matter how advanced we think we are, we're still just animals at the end of the day.
11. Satan has been cast out of heaven and knows he has a short period of time and he will destroy everyone he can...He is busy breaking up families and corrupting moral uprightness. People that have all their lives been pure and chaste are suddenly having affairs.....Satan knows what to use on us and he is quite good at it. Also men are becoming fierce, puffed up with pride, not open to any agreement.....etc. 2Tim 3:1-3
