WOW dailies pay amount?

In WOW, I see alot of people saying that dailies in Northern pay 20-50g. I have been maxing my dailies and am friendly or higher with almost all factions and yet they only pay 4-6g apiece. Am I missing something or are people just exaggerating?

1. If you're still getting xp they tend to pay less.
2. While you will never make 20-50g for dailies, you should be making a considerable profit. If you are getting daliies for 4-6g a piece, then I am assuming you are still leveling and getting xp from them also, or you are doing non-80 dailies i.e 70-77 dailies. The typical daily runs from around 13g-22g. The most popular are the regular and heroic dailies which grant substantial amounts of gold, badges, and rep rewards. Other notable dailies are the Oracle/Frenzyheart dailies in Sholazar basin, the cooking daily in Dalaran, the BG daily, the WG dailies, hte PvP dailies in Grizzly Hils(I am not sure how well these pay), the Icecrown dailies for Argent Crusade and Kirin Tor rep, as well as the dailies on the side of the cliff near the island in Icecrown. It usually takes 2-3 hours to do these dailies, which I usually only do when I'm bored with raiding(or saved to everything ><), achievements, farming, etc.
