I'm planning on playing WotLK (wow) at a higher FPS. What do I need?

I have a 3.2 Ghz processor Nvidia 512 MB XFX 8500 GS DDR2 graphics card 2 Gig Ram I'm looking to upgrade my computer, and have asked a few questions, but I need more imput. I plan to get a amd dual core 4400, 3 Gig ram, and a NVidia 7950 GT KO 512mb GDDR3. This will be a refurbished computer. For anyone reading this post, and understands WoW areas, I lag in places like shat, quel thalas (Daily quest island). If you don't play wow, I usually lag when there is too many people in one area. Please help me with my quest to a higher FPS.

1. If your going to run Windows XP on that refurb rig than you should get great performance for running WoW. Since you are switching to an AMD processor make sure you have the dual core optimizer from AMD. If you don't some of your games may crash. I'll provide a link.
