What is the proper way of cleaning the containers for a contact lens?

I'm new to using contact lenses and I've read in the internet to clean contact lens containers . However there are no specifict instructions on the proper way of cleaning the containers. Can I just use regular hot water? Pls help. Thanks

1. When I clean my case I just take a little of the solution for my contacts and sit it in there like overnight and then its fine
2. soap and hot water and let it air dry
3. alrite the easiest way to do it is to just put it in any type of water hot or cold and clean it out and then make sure u drie em good and there u go
