Any tips for improving yahoo spam blockers?

Any ideas on how to eliminate spam? The return addresses may vary but the subject line is often the same. So why isn't the yahoo spam blocker "learning" as yahoo says it will each time you list something as spam. I am clicking on 2-3 of these "Nigerian lottery" emails each week and designating them as spam but I keep getting them. Even though the address changes, you would think yahoo would figure it out eventually. And I keep getting these "make money" emails and I check them all as spam but keep getting several each week in my inbox. On average I get 5 - 20 spam in my inbox daily. It seems like only 2 out of 3 spam are designated as such. The yahoo spam blocker is ineffiecient. Does anyone have any ideas for better spam blocking because the yahoo spam is awful. It lets all these nigerian lottery and get rich quick ones go through. It's clear they are spam but nothing works. Yahoo spam is not "learning" anything.

1. I think you have the spam guard off. Turn on the yahoo spam guard. Click Options, Mail Options, then Spam. Check that top box and most of them will just not show again. The few that do click the Spam button.
