"great minds"? ;) Agnostic - studies show that increasing minimum wage drives employers to find efficiencies elsewhere instead of hiring new employees. Minimum wage is just another socialist demand on small businesses.

2. Apparently, he is in touch with the majority of the real world. He still has a majority approval rating, and he's handling the issues that Americans actually care about, like healthcare, instead of just pumping money into Dick Cheney's pocket.
3. You just heard Newt Gingrich speak, didn't you? About 42% of the democratic party is extremely liberal, and 100% of their leadership.
4. I think they are pretty in tune with the rest of the world but you are not. Minimum wage ensures fair and balanced pay so if you raise it people will have more money to spend.
