Dailies Contact Lenses

What brand of contacts are the best for children?

My child is comfortable with contacts so we are going to order a big pack of contacts and she is 12 years old. We don't want to order them online and we live near a Costco so we are planning to go there. We already have the prescriptions but Costco on has these brands : Acuvue 2 Oasys Acuvue Advance Acuvue 1-Day MOIST Soflens 38 Purevision Ultraflex II Focus DAILIES Air Optix Aqua Do you recommend one of them for my daughter?

  1. id sudggest acuvue 2.. thats what i had i think when i was 13 nd i now have freshlook because its like the best colored contact brand..well atleast for me lol!... well anyways i hope she enjoys her conttacts. i also think that any contact brands would work being they are all the same thing hehe yea so anyways just make sure they arnt hard contacrts.. make sure they are soft lens
  2. I'm sixteen and I've been trying different types for about a year now. Different brands and monthly & dailies. I tried Air Optix Aqua (I hated it). Now I use Johnson & Johnson Acuvue Trueye dailies and it's definitely the most comfortable for me and Im happy with it. I would chose something from Johnson & Johnson so Acuvue Advance or Acuvue 1-Day MOIST . I really recommend trueye if you can get your hands on it. Good luck whatever you decide.
  3. you need to goto the eye doctor its not just picking a brand the doc has to figure out her presciptune her thickness and stuff, you just need an contact fitting after she does one then you can just goto the doc after he rites the presription.
  4. Coctco should not sell you contacts (violation of federal law) unless you have a contact lens prescription from your eye doctor including prescription, BRAND, base curve and diameter. I fit contact lenses and most of the kinds of lenses up there could be great choices for a 12 year old. I have no idea which would be the best choice for your twelve year old.
  5. i find Acuvue the most comfortable for me. But there's more to contacts then just witch is the "best" you should consider getting her dailies since its the easiest, and no solution for cleaning and disinfecting is required since you just replace the lenses everyday with a fresh pair. if i were you i would go with 1 day Acuvue Moist but if you really do a prescription for your daughter you should most likely go with the brand your doctor gave you.
  6. I'm 13 and I use Acuvue Advance For Astigmatism.
