- I don't know how you are counting that, but the dailies are a lot more expensive. The dailies run $ 671.76 for a year, and your brand costs $ 279.92 for a year. Those are prices from 1800contacts. The dailies are cheaper per box, but you need many more boxes over a year. The only way you can know if they would even work for you is to have a trial fitting done at your eye Dr....there is no other way to know if they will fit or not.
- First of all Focus Dailies Toric Lenses are a one day disposable lens. You wear them for a day and throw them away. They only come in 30 day packs which would be a one month supply (for 1 eye) if you are wearing them everyday. Soflens Torics are a two week replacement lens. They come six lenses in a box. That would be a 3 months supply (for one eye). So actually the Daily lenses are much more expensive. Watch quantities and replacement schedules when purchasing. Switching contact lens brands doesn't normally "mess up" your eyes. Your optometrist would determine if they are the right fit for you. The Dr. I work for has worn the regular Focus Dailies (she doesn't have an astigmatism) for years and loves them. Good Luck! Hope that helps. -Certified Paraoptometric Assistant
