Is it safe to wear my Acuvue Moist daily disposable contact lenses overnight?
I am out of contact lenses until Monday and am currently wearing my last pair. Can I wear them overnight without any problems? I don't own a storage case for the lenses since I only wear daily disposables. I need them in tomorrow when I play a round of golf and wax my SUV. I will be wearing them overnight! Thanks!

- I've had mine in for 16 months. No lie.
- i personally wouldn't. theres no possible way for you to obtain a container and some contact solution?? when i slept with mine in it really hurt to take them off the next day
- wearing any kind of contact lense isn't safe. but all of them have the same change of falling behind your eye, which is a rare case. i wouldn't recommend sleeping with yours in overnight, but i have slept in with them & what i can say is that it feels HORRIBLE when you wake up with them. it just a really annoying feeling. i wear acuvue oasis with hydraclear. what you can do is put your lense in a baggie & fill it with water. it will feel irritating when you put them in, but your tears with lube it up. i had to do this many time because i forget to bring my case & solution when i stayed the night at a friends house. - no. its not safe. i have contacts and they get ruined when i accidentally sleep in them. if you have eyedrops/solution for them you should put some of that in a bowl and put each contact in a bowl and cover them in plastic wrap while you sleep
- It's fine to have them in for a day or two. I wouldn't make this a regular practice. If you have some replenish, put your contacts in a little container overnight filled with it. If you have blinkblink or ClearEye, I would take advantage of that too. Leaving contacts in feels like I suffocated my eye...it's like dry eye. You'll be fine, though, just make sure you keep them clean and don't sleep with them in.
