Dailies Contact Lenses

I have read the prk is being done more, and that it has fewer side effects than lasik. I have high blood pres?

and I am in my 60s, would prk be better than lasik? And have they made a correction to make a bifocal correction yet?

  1. No, Bifocals are needed because the lens loses its ability to accomodate. so reshaping the cornea won't fix that. They can give you monovision where one eye focuses on near and the other far, or you can use reading or distance glasses when needed. PRK does have fewer side effects, although LASIK has reduced compared to older machines. PRK has a more painful and longer recovery however. Consultations for these are free, discuss it with an ophthalmologist.
