How can you tell which contact lens goes in which eye when you get new one?

Hi, I just order a new pair of contact lens and it came in a box, when you open it you get 6 contact lens, 3 together and the other three together...Which one is for the right eye and which one if for the left eye?

1. Sorry, you posted in "Photography." (If your eyes differ, aren't the boxed marked? If not, placing them should allow you to decide, based on how well you see post-placement.) ADDITIONAL INFO: each box is marked with the prescription number for the eye in which it goes. Check the exam info from your medical practitioner, then mark the boxes as either LEFT or RIGHT. :)
2. You should have a prescription for your eyes from your eye doctor. This would tell you which eye has which prescription. Once you figure it out, take a sharpie and mark each contact package with either an L or an R so you won't have to figure it out again.
