A Nigerian Home Office worker 'married' his own daughter to get her a British visa, the Daily Mail can reveal. The extraordinary scam was apparently executed by Jelili Adesanya while ministers turned a blind eye. I understand that he wanted his daughter to be in Britain, but marrying your own daughter is unethical and disturbing.
the thought of it is just disgusting, selfish and wrong.
Surely apart from all of the above it is Illegal in this country and therefore they should all be sent home.
It's enough to make me vomit.
I am sure that it is illegal. Not that the authorities or Police will be interested.
No surprise, surely. Our "Not fit for purpose" Home Office have been turning a blind eye to such scams for decades - but especially under NuLabour and Blind Blunkett (who wasn't above fiddling passports himself) and the current Attorney General (unable to follow rules she helped develop.) It's the main reason they've quite blatantly refused to even try to keep reliable records - the whole immigration situation is such a ghastly mess - a national disgrace. Gordo Brown and his crew hope the inner-city suburbs - now teeming with aliens - might give him a ghost of a chance at the next Election. This particular case is just typical of the 100s of ways our 'systems' are being flouted. We watch UK Border Control officers working their socks off on TV - spending hours scrutinising fake students attending fake colleges - and all the while streams waltz though the easier paths of officially approved routes - claiming the right to brig a dozen other relatives/dependents in their wake. And this crook even has an easier way - as a Home Office 'worker'. We're being betrayed from within - but mainly from the top.
