How can my contact lens prescription change so much?
A few years ago my contact lens prescription in my left eye was -4.75. My most recent glasses prescription is -3.75 which would decrease to -3.25 for a contact lens. The numbers in my right eye haven't changed much at all at a - 1.75. Is such a change possible/normal? There is no other factor causing a change such as the contact lens material?

- It can change that much, and you're lucky! Your eyesight is actually getting closer to 20/20 vision. Most people's eyes get worse, yours are getting better. But yes, such a change is possible, and it is normal. Contact lens material is not a factor in Rx change.
