How much does laser eye surgery cost in Lebanon?

Damn thats expensive!! i thought it would be cheaper than here..

1. The Beirut LASIK Eye Surgery Clinic. In 2005 it was $1950 per eye - an increase of approximately $400 per eye over 2002 prices. Expect to pay between $2,000 and $2,500 per eye for LASIK by a reputable surgeon. http://www.lasik.md/fcities/lasikbeirutlebanon.htm It's not cheaper, and if you want to get it done well, prepare to pay :D lol This type of surgery is some serious stuff and it holds many side effects... wouldn't recommend it unless it's really that needed.
2. it's between $800-1200 now depending on your personal relationship with the doctor. My friend's sister did it last summer for $1100 then his other sister did it for $800 ... both eyes of couse now wer'e in 2010 not 2005 ... so the prices on that website are very outdated ...
