Do some people look at the opposite sex in their daily lives and think "wow, they appear really oppressed"?
Would it be kind of patronising if they did? Or are most people actually pretty comfortable with the fact that men and women basically have the same rights in the western world? Just curious!

- This is an obvious dig at feminism (although you could apply the same sarcastic statement to anti-feminism, too), and no. Most people do not stare around trying to find the oppressed person in the crowd. Anyway, how do you tell what the "outward signs of oppression" are?
- Yes. For example, my female boss is very oppressed as demonstrated by her scowl when she tells me to get her coffee.
- well u dont have to be a genius to figure it out....come now
