How much does laser eye surgery cost in the UK?

With companies advertising from £395 per eye, I'm interested in how much it has cost people recently with different prescriptions: my worst eye is -8.50 with 1.75 astigmatism, so I'm imagining it will cost me a lot...

1. how the fuck would I know, I live in the USA and have never had lazer eye surgery
2. Hi, my sister went to get it done and her eye sight i would say if terrible but it would of cost around £5,000. My boyfriends mum got it done and it cost her about the same..all depends where you go and how bad your eyes are..
3. OK, I got intralase wavefront LASIK earlier this year and it cost me about £900 per eye. I had this as my night vision was appalling and there was more risk of it worsening with the basic treatment, but more chance of improvement with this and there had been significant improvement in my night vision. My side effects have been dry eyes, and more recently I have been holding text and computers a long way infront (like someone who needs glasses but doesnt have them might do). I will mention this at my next check. At my last check I was told I had better than 20/20 vision so it went well!
