Dailies Contact Lenses

I want the Travelers Tundra Mammoth Mount, is there other ways to make 16k than dungeons and dailies ?

1. what i did is dungeon pretty much my whole way to 80, and then at 80 did every single northrend quest i could find. You get a solid amount of gold doing that. I got my mount that way in about 2 weeks of constant questing and selling all of the items i found/earned from it.
