Swimming with Dailies disposable contacts?
I will be wearing goggles( 5 buck ones from wal mart, nothing special), and I will throw them out right after, but I hear that chlorine can get stuck between your contact and eye and give you infections or diseases(this is in a indoor swimming pool) Is it safe?

- Nahh, i wouldn't risk that. i don't wear contacts and the chlorine burns my eyes i can only imagine what it would be like with contacts. and if you do wear goggles, make sure you come up every once and while and dry them off. and make sure there tight! but not to tight, your veins could pop(:
- The material that soft lenses are made from absorb all kinds of junk like a sponge. My eye doctor asked me to wear daily-wear lenses on days that I swim. (She is more concerned about a water-borne fungus than anything else.) I think that if you wear dailies, then your exposure is limited. If you have any concerns at all, ask your eye doctor. Free advice on Y!A isn't worth much.
