could you imagine (seriously !) going to a school (INDIA) that requires such daily hair braiding for students?

http://www.bowdoin.edu/ocs/views-from-away/images/2006-2007/Ahearn_Schoolgirls_sm.jpg this is in some schools in INDIA,and I ( I am 14 btw ) will soon attend such a school in Punjab,India,so I read the school policy regarding hair for all female students (including high school) : -for girls with shorter hair, hair must be tied in a ponytail neatly off face at all times while in school -for girl with shoulder and longer hair (mine is waist length !!) hair must be PLAITED (braided) in 2 braids ,if long enough braids must be looped (like in photo) and in my school's case ,Light Blue ribbons have to be tied in braids . NO FRINGE /BANGS ALLOWED ! my hair is caucasian anyway HOW WILL I LOOK WITH MY HAIR FASHIONED THIS WAY EVERY SINGLE DAY ,OMG ?????

1. What the heck! Are you serious? That sucks. My hair is like near my rear-end. I wouldn't want to braid my hair for anything. I always leave mine down
2. yeah deal with it. modesty is very important to indians. besides guys in india don't "check" out girls till they come to 11th grade. i had short hair with bangs throughout school so i coudnt put it up in a pony =D. well right now im in college and its not that strict any more P.S. u can try korean or japanese style of braiding hair. check out bubzbeauty channel in youtube. eh wait again no fringe or bangs??? and the school looks low class. which village r u going to??
