Please tell me about the sport drinks. Any positive or negative effects?

There are many misconceptions surrounding sports drinks, such as Gatorade and PowerAde. Research these drinks, and write a short report discussing the pros and cons of such drinks. Include a nutritional breakdown of one of these drinks, and analyze how this relates and compares to daily-recommended intakes of certain nutrients. In your conclusion, use your evidence to decide whether or not you believe such drinks are a smart choice for: (a) the average high school student (b) top-level high-school athletes

  1. Well i know sports drinks are great if you are actually playing a sport because they have electrolytes. If you aren't playing a sport, they can sometimes cause you to gain weight :(
