How much more for daily disposable contact lenses?
Im thinking about getting contact lenses again, but this time i'll be going for daily disposable ones. How much roughly woild these cost? Also i have an astigmatism in both eyes so i know that may increase the price. Any rough prices would be great. (£)

- around about £10, but it really depends on strength and purpose :)
- It depends on your vision, the shape of your eye, and how good quality the contacts are. When I get mine they are about £35 a pack, but I have to buy 2 packs as my eyes are different strengths, I also have a weird shaped eye that daily disposables have only recently been able to cater for. Hope this helps :)
- I use Acuvue and pay about £35 for 30 pairs. I have an astigmatism and just wear normal daily disposable lenses. I found the astigmatism lenses too difficult to take in and out and my eyesight is only a tiny bit better with them. As I don't use them for work my optician is fine with me wearing normal lenses.
- I use dailies for swimming and have astigmatism in both eyes. I use Focus dailies , the torics, and taht is about £35 for each pack. I'm not sure why the other poster has more of a probelm putting torics in - I used to have non-toric dailies for swimming before they brought out torics and I can't say i noticed any difference in putting them in. the only thing with torics is that they have to sit right to give you better vision and dry eyes are more of a problem. I find putting in drops frequently helps with this. Otherwise I find torics wonderful. I use accuvue fortnightlies for other than swimming and find them slightly more comfortable though. Also dalies are that much thinner and harder to handle than fortnightlies.
