When I lie in bed, listening to inspiring music, I get a feeling that is very emotional. I would say that these moments "pull" the humanity out of me. It made me think about how during the day, when it comes to real interactions, how we as a people ignore much of what it means to be compassionate. While waiting for the train no one talks, over lunch real issues are side stepped and substituted with materialistic objectives. Essentially I feel like the majority of our days are barren when it comes to inspiring, uplifting interaction that I feel we only arise to in conveninet matters of strife and conflict. If we pulled together like on 9/11 and other passionately moved situations on a daily basis just imagine how much positiveness we could accomplish. My friends have told me it's just a "phase" I'm in and that if I go around talking like this people will think I'm crazy. Why? What is wrong with an inspiring word to mankind? Why is it mocked outside the context of corny movies and such?
