How much time does the ave. FRUIT PRODUCING FAITHFUL REAL Christian spend in prayer, what about 5f ministers?

How much time on average do you TRUE, FAITHFUL, FRUIT PRODUCING, I mean you got real works of faith to show for your claimed Christianity Christian spend a day in prayer. How much on average do you spend in the Word of God daily. Jesus said this is how you should pray.. "...Give us this day our DAILY BREAD..." We know that Jesus said to take no though for tomorrow in Matthew 6:14 and that, "I am the True Manna (Bread) from Heaven." - John 6:30-35. We also know that Jesus is the WORD - John 1:1-14 So how much time do you spend in prayer and the Word Men and Women of God? NOT the people that just sit on pews and try to absorb eternal life selfishly for themselves and don't use it to reach out to others as in Mark 12:28-34, and those who refuse the GREAT COMISSION of Mark 16:15-18. I know they don't have a prayer life, because if they did they would fulfill the Royal Law of Mark 12 and the great commision of Mark 16 And what about you five fold ministers 2 Tim 2 2 Tim 3 Also I would like to respectfully ask that if you have open-knowledgable sin operating in your life, if you willingly sin and you know it: Please refrain from answering, I am not interested in your answer. Im not trying to offend, but I am interested only in the answers of those who are truly Jesus-seekers, those who pick up their cross daily and FOLLOW HIM. The True Disciples of Christ. I have every right to ask this, as I seek God with all my heart and am a Spirit-Filled, five fold minister. Thank you. I agree with you superfoo and Bobby B, thank you for good answers. And no I am not trying to compare or judge, my true motive for asking this was not to get an answer, but to prompt wise men and women to consider this matter in light of their own walk with God. Thanks No this is not a competition, we should ONLY compare ourselves to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. But Bobby, James under inspiration of the Holy Ghost wrote that "faith without works is DEAD", and the just ONLY live by faith (that is found 4 times in the Bible). And without faith it is impossible to please God - Heb 11:6. Jesus said, "Good trees produce good fruit, and bad trees produce bad fruit,... therefore you will KNOW them by their fruits." Matthew 7:15-20. I'm not judging anyone's heart, but Jesus said that I will know whether you are a good tree or a bad tree by YOUR FRUIT. Thanks Guys And to you haysoos: Thank you for answering as well. You say you have never seen a Christian's fruit... Jesus said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are BORN AGAIN, you cannot SEE the Kingdom of God." John 3:3 and in verse 5 and 6: Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Much love to you also. Thanks Also this: Yes Bobby B, it is about Building a Deep Rooted Foundational relationship with God within our hearts. That is why the First commandment is Love the Lord your God with all of your heart..... Mark 12:30 I cannot see nor judge you (your heart), just as I cannot see the root system of a massive oak tree underground, but if I see a massive oak tree and the wealth of quality vegitation it is producing on the outside (above the surface), then I know FOR CERTAIN that there must be a massivly strong and healthy ROOT system underneath. (The Unseen/Your Heart) How could it produce such abundant fruit otherwise. But Jesus said in Mark 12:31 "And the second commandment LIKE it is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Look up that word like, you will find that it means the same as, or equal to or just as important as. If you have the ROOTS with God in your heart, you will by necessity produce the fruit above the surface. What good is it to build a deep relationship with God on the inside if you do not assist in bringing other SOULS into the Kingdom. We already have our ticket to heaven, so to speak, we are saved. But the only point of continuing in discipleship or building your faith after you receive salvation is to WIN SOULS to the eternal LIFE in Jesus Name. The one in whom is found Eternal Life, and is found in no other name but the Name of Jesus

  1. Christians produce fruit?? I never knew that. Does it grow from their armpits or something? How come I've never seen Christian fruit? You'd think they might have mentioned something like this before - it would certainly be better proof against evolution than some stupid picture of a crocoduck.
  2. Most probably do not spend as much time in prayer as they should or would desire to. I personally am one of them. With a full-time job, a part-time job, a ministry, a family, a wife, it is often a challenge to find time for studying the bible. I do worship and study in Sunday morning services along with ministering, and I study at mid-week bible study as well as in a small fellowship group. Prayer, for me, has become a continuous attitude throughout each day, continually speaking with God all day long, no matter what I am doing. Perhaps some pray more or longer than I and maybe they study their bibles more than I do, but this is not a competition, Is it? <edit> Winning the lost for Christ is the entire reason God has called each of us. That said, I do not claim to have "led " anyone to Christ. Christ in me and Him working through me has led people to Himself. I am just one of the tools He uses to accomplish His work. My responsibility as the "tool" is to be the correct tool for the job and there is only one way for me to be that - I must be sharp, humble, available and usable. Praise God He has led people to Christ, using me as a tool to accomplish His Glory!
  3. It is about building God within us not so much the works we perform. It is seeing the pattern and the image of God in Jesus Christ and then building after that pattern. This can be done no matter where you are or what your background since it is not external. Yes, as we build this Spiritual kingdom within there will be visible fruit, but whose to say our brothers are not building? Therefore, we must not judge the product before it's time to judge it. The product being the work God is doing in an individual's heart. Prayer is a part of this building but that kingdom that is to come can not be seen with the natural eye. The will that is to be done is specific to each individual as they are called. How can I judge your works if you are not called to be as I am? Maturity will come and to some quicker then others, but let us pray for one another and lift the weak hands that we all may be a praise to God.
