Are daily disposable contact lenses more comfortable for people with dry eyes?
I have 2 week disposables, but can only keep them in for 3-4 hours because my eyes get irritated and dried out. If anyone has had experience with daily disposable lenses I'd appreciate any input you could give.

- It has less to do with the length of time they are worn than the material of the lenses themselves. You obviously don't have the best brand for you as it is. Your problem sounds typical of Oasys... There are many other 2 week lenses that can be trialed, as well as daily lenses , but just switching to a daily lens isn't going to be a solution if it isn't the right one for you. Talk to your Dr. about your problem , it is usually easy to solve.
- Hey! Your symptoms sound just like mine before I switeched from 2 wk disposables (Oasys) to Acuvue also 2 wk ones. My opticial told me they contain less of the 'plastic' components and more 'breathable' materials so they don't dry your eyes as much. I spend 8 hrs+ at my computer so my eyes would get so dry it was unbearable. I defo noticed the improvement with Acuvue, can go on for more than 12 hrs with no problems. http://www.acuvue.co.uk/?gclid=CIHvn62c6qkCFUMMfAodUQFRaQ
