Can i wear one contact lens at the dmv for the vision test?

Im planning on updating my prescription and im down to my last pair of contacts but ive seemed to have scratched the right contact lens and its to blurry for me to see through it. I can see pretty well through my right eye anyway but my left eye needs the contact lens. I'll tell the dmv that i wear contacts i just wont tell them my right eye doesn't have one in today. Is that ok?

1. Most states require that you can see 20/40 (or 20/50) with at least one eye, so you should be OK. They'll still add the "corrective lens" restriction.
2. In NC anyway there are not separate vision tests for each eye, so I think you'll be fine.
3. use your glasses instead & invest in contacts that you can wear daily without tossing in the garbage.
