I rinsed my contact lens case with water?
So I just got 1 month disposable contacts recently. I've been doing some research online saying I shouldn't rinse out my lens case with water because of bacteria and stuff. Also, when I put my contacts in the morning, I rinsed out my case with warm water and with solution and didn't let it air dry, I put the lid on top. I just now took my contacts out and rinsed my case with water and then put the solution in with my contacts. Are my contacts going to be ruined?

- no your contacts aren't going to be ruined from just this once. but in the future, wash them out regularly yes, but then dry them out with a towel, and then i squirt some solution in the case and give it a little shake to rinse it then toss it out. then i fill the case with fresh solution again and put my contacts up for the night. sometimes if the case doesn't need a big clean in the sink, i'll hold the case sideways and squirt in a circular motion for a second to rinse it out. it's something about the minerals in the water that mess up contact lenses, but just that once won't hurt, although try not to make it a regular thing. :)
- ehh... i do it all the time sometimes i dont use them for months at a time, and theyre still good dont worry about it
