- Yes it can go wrong. A common error occurs resulting in blurred vision. You should choose your provider with care.
- yes. While being blinded is pretty unlikely, it's not impossible. When I looked into it the odds of problems were about 1 in 20. These are the same odds as of surviving a space shuttle flight. :-) my optician pointed out that no-one ever damaged their eyes with glasses. I stuck with glasses and contact lenses. not saying 'don't do it' but it is not guaranteed.
- I have never seen an eye surgeon who has got LASIK (laser surgery for glasses removal) done on his/her own eyes till today !!! If not one of them wants to undergo this procedure, why should I ? I am happy with glasses.
- ..absolutely not !
- A lot of people gave undergone successful laser eye surgery. You can too.It might be risky, there are possibilities of Complications and side effects can occur with both LASIK and PRK. Some of the side effects are dry eyes, under- or over-correction, halo around things under light, ghosts or double vision, growth under the epithelial flap, and light sensitivity etc. Nevertheless, it has proven to be successful in most cases. But before you go for the surgery, there are critical factors you need to consider. Read more here: http://lasereyesurgeryz.blogspot.com
