are there any real christians out there?

by that, i mean do any of you really believe every word in the bible and try your best to practice it in your daily life. things such as: slaveholding, not allowing women to speak in church, killing adult film stars, gay people, and anyone having premarital sex for that matter, throwing rocks at people who work on sunday, sacrificing animals on that golden altar in your back yard, etc...? and yes, i am well aware of the new testament. however, God does say that he is eternal and unchanging, so these things should surely be ok in the eyes of God, correct? that is, if his word truly is eternal.

4. A true Christian will accept that God gives us revelation and is still giving revelation for our times. Jesus showed us how to live and that is what a true Christian is supposed to live like. He did not throw rocks at people. Remember the woman who was an adultress who was going to be stoned? He said he who is without sin cast the first stone. He knew that not one could do it since he knew their hearts. Being Christian doesn't mean you are perfect it means you are striving to be like Christ and will take on his name because you want to be like him.

WHOA!!! talk about not understanding God...man you are all over the place. let me help you out... ~slavery is illegal so God won't condone it here in america or anywhere it is illegal. 1 Peter 2:13-14 ~women being silent may still apply in the middle eastern churches as it did in ancient middle eastern cultures. and it was given as a means for orderly worship, a cultural way of life that women did not lead over men and speak in their assemblies. but it is still in all churches women are to be submissive to men and men are to love, protect and be considerate of the women. Ephesians 5:24-25 ~adult film stars need to repent and live for Christ like everyone else...if not they kill themselves because God will certainly condemn them in the end. ~gay people can repent of that lifestyle and live for God just like any un-married hetero...but one can't live that lifestyle actively and get to heaven. celebacy (sexual purity) or heterosexual marriage are the only acceptable things to God. Ephesians 5:3 ~stoning on Sunday??? now you are just trolling for negative response...if not, how can you obey Jesus saying "love your neighbor as yourself" and "forgive and you will be forgiven" and stone people too? old covenant law does not apply. ~Sacrifice to gold alter? trolling again duder...if not then you don't understand that Jesus was the final eternal sacrifice so animals are no longer needed ever again. if you are really aware of the new testament why don't you understand it...do you mean you have "heard" of it, or "read" it? anyway, personally i think you posted this question merely to get a rise out of people...nothing more, nothing less. yes God is never changing and all of the above you mentioned will reap what they sow, but it is not by the hands of Christians, but God will do it Himself on Judgment Day. i believe every word in the Bible and i understand what still applies and what doesn't. learn God's word and learn the truth.
