I have been getting daily emails written in a foreign accent promising millions of dollars if I cooperate.?
Nigerian lotteries, billion dollar trust etc etc. I know it's all a scam and I mark these emails as spam but they keep coming. How did they find me and how can I stop it??

- You cant stop it, your email address is on a circulated list, it will never stop, think of it like your home address, if you get lots of junk mail, only way to stop it is to move, this is same as changing your email address.
- Try playing with your webmail's filter settings. As for how they find you, it's often just luck. If you chuck out a million emails, you're likely to get a few hits. If one of them 'works' (i.e. they fall for it), then it's worth the million emails. It's often the case that legitimate users' accounts are "hijacked" for spam purposes.
- Your email got on a spam list, there are a zillion different ways it could have gotten on there, one of which is even just randomly trying email addresses. Anyway, one can't completely stop spam but you can reduce the amount you get by using a spam blocker program. Most internet security programs have this feature included. Or you can set up a block on whatever program you are using to read your email with to only allow emails from people in your address book.
- Try Spybot S&D and Adaware and run a full system spyware scan they both put together take care of most spyware type infections and are free to use . - if they sends you through your email, just lodge a report to your mail provider.example,in yahoo mail just report to yohoo about it and they will take action. and remember, dont ever never responce to the scam because it can also spread spyware to your computer.for the best result,i suggest u to use Panda Antivirus + firewall and antispyware. this program can even detect possible threat as well as unknown viruses.u can also monitor any your internet web page to secure your computer from being attacked by spyware cookies.try it to see it
