what type of meditation allows me to focus on the inter-connectedness of human being energy?

I've been looking at Buddhist and Trancendental meditation but these types still seem to focus on ideas/methodology that are void of existential meaning. I want to develop a meditation style that will allow me to trancend the material word and allow me to focus on higher meaning (eg. that humans are here to remove their barriers to love, that our daily minutia is meaningless in the bigger picture, that our worth is not based on what we own or even do). Am I missing something? What resources do I have? Where is a good place to start? Thanks! -Matt

  1. If you try to notice the activities of your brain for sometime, then you will find that you seldom find yourself in PRESENT, and your brain always keep trying to lead you towards PAST or FUTURE through various THOUGHTS. Infact, when you are in PRESENT, you are THOUGHTLESS as PRESENT has NO THOUGHTS. And, the best technique, the unique one, for meditation is Sahaja Yoga through which you may be able to awaken your mother kundalini spontaneously. This is absolutely free to as one can not pay for divine love. This can be done on internet too using www.adishakti.org , www.sahajayoga.org . Try it. Warm Regards !
  2. Meditate on God's Word. It gives Life, and Life to the full!
  3. here is a site that I use often for guidence in yoga. it also has other links that are quite useful. http://www.yogajournal.com/ It has taken me a while to get where I am physically in Yoga and it has taken me equally as long spiritually. However I feel it is definately worth the work. I wish you luck with your walk.
