Which Contact Lense Exam Should I Get?
I want to get Focus Dailies. JC Penny has either 2 or 3 different contact lense exams. I think one of them is gas permeadable contact lense exam. I don't know which one to get.

- This is a decision you should make together with your eye doctor. Gas perm lenses, for instance, are overkill for the vast majority of people. Most people don't need them; they work best for people with extreme vision problems; very few people wear them compared to soft lenses. Dailies are an excellent alternative, especially if you have had dry eye problems, allergies or recurrent eye infections. Most people do just fine with standard two week disposables. Often the kind of lenses you ultimately get will not be determined until you are in the doctors exam chair. If there are price differences in the exam cost, the exam you pay for will be based on the lens you get, rather than the other way around. Don't stress it, ask the doctor what s/he recommends based on your eyes; the doctor is the expert.
- that would be the exam for disposable contacts
- Whatever you and the doctor decide whats best.
