  1. Energy drinks are just hype they really don't work and they are addicting. Maybe a physical is due to rule out any kind of illness. Exercise, diet and a stress free life is the best way to perk up.
  2. Try some pushups in the morning - you will get pumped up in more ways than one.
  3. There are lots of supplements that help with this. Sam E is a good mood enhancer that also helps joint stability. Green vegetable extracts are good (look for supplements with more than 10-15 phytonutrients). Ashwaganda and Hoodia help to boost adrenal and thyroid health which can give you more energy. I also take green tea extract, royal jelly and apple cider vinegar (to regulate blood sugar) daily. Eating more carbs and proteins in the AM can help for some people who might have an erratic metabolism as well. Really the issue here is - do you have a medical condition that is predisposing you to be tired? Overworked kidneys/adrenal gland? Low metabolism? Low electrolytes (sodium/potassium, etc) in the blood? You may need to have this addressed if you are continually tired. Supplements can only do so much if you aren't healthy to start with.
  4. well I would drop the energy drinks. They have high levels of caffeine sure but then you'll have a caffeine crash and drinking alot of these drinks cant be healthy. Take a multivitamin that way you will get your daily nutrients, exercise and eat healthy. High levels of carbohydrates and sugars slow you down you need them but in moderation. some people suffer from sun deficiency disorder, the sun releases some chemicals in your body that effect your mood; and if you dont get enought sun that could effect your mood. but food and exercise effects mood too, best thing is ask a doctor
  5. Not all energy drinks are expensive, try Lucozade, my sis drinks them all the time and there so effective, they even do Lucozade tablet sweet things (quite nice) Or try something lke pro-plus, keeeps you alert and focused as its a caffeine based tablet, there not expensive either. Do stimulating activities in your spare time, it will increase your metabolism and stamina for regular day to day tasks. Good luck
  6. Omega oils found in oily fish or capsule form are the best source of vitamins that will help with energy and concentration levels (basically good stuff for the brain!). Ginko as a herbal remedy for tiredness although it does take a few days to kick in. If you suspect mood problems may be hormonal try evening primrose and/or starflower oil. For immediate effect you could try burning some reputable essential oils, the citrus type are excellent for increasing alertness. Above all keep smiling, it releases your bodies own natural "happy hormone" seretonin, every time you do!! XxXxX
  7. First most important thing to do is to visit your doctor, secondly take his advice.....thirdly set up a regular excercise regimen, eat everymeal of the day..do not skip any....and eating 2 oz of almonds helps to boost the mood.
