What makes me not a good candidate for Laer Eye Correction?

I want to get Lasik (I've been wearing contacts&glasses for 17 years). I heard certain people are not good candidates for Lasir or PRK. Anyone know what those requisites are? Tahnks!!!

1. wow I wouldn't risk my sight with them.
2. If your vision is too bad, as in close to legally blind. If your vision is not bad enough, if your prescription has changed within the last year, if you have certain conditions such as diabetes, HIV/AID, gloucoma, eye infections, chronic dry eye, pregnancy, certain rheumatological conditions, or if you have very bad astigmatism. those are a few that I know right off the top of my head. If you search online, there are a ton of websites that list who is/isn't a good candidate for Lasik. Try lasikbenefitsusa.com or webmd. or even just type in laser eye surgery in yahoo's search.
