Have you ever had laser eye surgery? Where did you get it done and would you go there again?

I'm looking to get laser eye surgery and of course I'd like a place that doesn't mess up too often and doesn't have too many hidden fees. If you've had laser eye surgery, where did you get it done and would you recommend that others go there?

1. I had it done. It was expensive, but it worked and now I can see. My eyes were really bad before that. I had to have eye surgery a couple of years before that to correct strabismus (lazy eye).
2. Lasik is relatively a very safe procedure which has been performed for nearly a decade. The technology has advanced so much that its now possible to predict the outcome even before laser is done. The pre op Diagnostic Procedures are called as orbscan and abberometry. Lasik procedure takes just 10 mins for both the eyes and you can resume normal activities within 24 hrs. The only disadvantage is the cost of the procedure , but this can be over come when u have the procedure done in countries like India which have very good laser centers and Ophthalmologists.
