2 Science questions i need help on please?

Could anyone please help thanks 1. You are the project manager for the newest effort to study the planet Pluto. This will not be an easy job because of the planets great distance from earth. Which of the following "tools" would be most suited to this kind of mission? (More than one tool could be used, but think about which is best for this type of mission.) A) satellite B) probe C) manned/space shuttle type mission D) using a telescope, like the Hubble Space Telescope 2. We study the sun for various reasons. One such reason is that events on the sun, such as solar flares and prominences can affect the solar wind/weather that reaches the earth. This in turn can have a negative effect on A) various types of communications, including satellite transmissions B) daily weather patterns for weeks after the event. C) Climate D) the amount of ultraviolet radiation reaching the surface of the earth.

1. Why should we. It probly is your homework. Ask a teacher or someone. If it is homework than when a quiz comes you won't know the answer.
2. Question 1 -- B - "probe" would be the best answer. A satellite is in orbit around the earth, a manned mission would be too costly/difficult, and a telescope will yeild little usefull information about such a distant object. Question 2 -- A - Solar flares cause problems for unprotected electrical equipment orbiting the earth, such as communications satellites. The surface of the planet is largely protected by the Earth's magnetic sphere, so solar flares have no real effect on daily weather or climate. UV radiation is also largely deflected from the surface by the o-zone layer.
