why have we let the world of today become in such peril becuase of religion.?

we're afraid of the islamic terrorists here. they're afraid of the christian terrorists there. yes i said christian terrorists. if you are trying to lead a normal life in iraq we are the terrorists. don't kid yourself if we weren't there innocent people would not be getting blown up on a daily basis.everyone in the middle east hates the jewish people, why i'm not sure. they fight among themselves over tiny pieces of land and minute differences in opinion about what happens in the afterlife. it is insane. the sooner religion in ALL COUNTRIES this one included is seperated from politics, the safer the world will become . ALL RELIGION NEEDS TO BE ABOLISHED FOR THE GOOD OF MANKIND. thank you in advance for agreeing with me. please leave your comments of praise and love for me.

1. It's not religion that is destroying the world it is humans that are using religion to hide behind.
2. Interestingly enough there seem to be extremist versions of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity all present at once now. It gets ugly... I think that extremist versions of religions take hold when society is changing too quickly for people to feel comfortable; so they tend to take refuge in the "older", "more pure", "unchanging" beliefs. This tends to put them out of touch with modernity and increase their sense of dislocation - so it feeds on itself. (As I said - ugly.) There have been many other instances of fundamentalist revivals in most major religions and they have eventually died out. I sure hope it happens soon this time around....
3. The people who really wield the power don't care for religion. This nonsense is for the witless hordes. The power wielders are ruled by something even older than religion - greed and fear.
4. Religion is not the reason for our world problems. Let's put the blame where it really belongs. It is Satan, his demons, and his followers! And if you are not following Jesus, your following Satan. It's that simple and that's the TRUTH!

And sorry I don't agree with your view that religion should be abolished. Politics suck wether religion is involved or not. But that's just my opinion.
7. its no different than when they fed christians to lions, nothing is worse, nor is it any better than thousands of years ago, its just that you hear about it all much faster. its up to you to change the world, by changing how you act, change it all one person at a time. do something nice for someone today. without being asked, without expecting pay back. and keep it up, do something each day for a total stranger, or even better, for someone you really dont like. you might be surprised at the reaction. its got little to do with religion, its a matter of groups of people always wanting to be right. they dont have to even be a formal group, but they cant stand someone else being right, or better in some percieved way, take the attitude that no one in the world is worse or better than you. and just keep doing these unasked little acts of kindness. drop a coin in a parking meter. pick up someone elses trash, open doors, even for men, smile, yes just a simple smile could change someones day.
8. Read your History and you"ll discover what your "godless" utopia looks like. Unlike yourself , I prefer not to live in one such world. Do you realize that people such as Stalin and Hitler envisioned such a world as you idolize or are you so thick as not to realize this. Please be honest and have the courage to reveal to us all why it is that you personally hold such an agenda. I challange you to do this.
9. religions exist so that there will be peace among the ppl. they are suppose to aid the mankind from becoming a better world, not destroying them.as the years go by, devotees misunderstood the teachings of their religion and that is why we can see deviations between practitoners. i do believe that all religions teach you good things and be a good man. it is the way people define sentence from their books that causes such extremities in the world. so, to save the world, you have to start by saving yourself first.
10. Religion doesn't cause the peril...it's the religious impostors who hold political power and misuse religion to sway the spiritually ignorant among the followers. There are different kinds of people in any religion, and many are willing to twist religion to suit their ends. There are also the blind sheep who will listen to anyone who manipulates their emotions. Abolishing religion won't solve the problems of the world. Look at Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union...
11. Well if everyone would accept Jeasus as LORD we wouldn't have anymore violence. What you see is not as real as God. What you see should prove to you there is a God. If you try and tell me we just became without a creator then you need to go rethink some things. Ask any athiest how the whole universe came about to exist and I mean every galaxy, planet and star, also the ones still being created. Ask how the earth has one set speed it is to turn and one set speed to rotate around the sun. Also the sun is just at the right distance for life to be sustained here on earth which includes billions of diverse lifeforms (That according to athiests just popped out of nowhere or crawled out of the Ocean). Is it all just coincedence? Also ask them to get an empty mason jar and set it in their house and go back to the jar 20 or 30 years later or more if needed and see whats in it..........you know what would be in it? Still nothing. You have to have a Creator and it scares athiests. Also for the big bang theory supporters........where did the material that went bang come from and the energy to make it go BANG? I'll tell you, God created it and he may have made a "BIG BANG" out of it to put it where he wanted it I won't dispute that because the Universe is still expanding. All in all the athiests have too many questians to answer themselves that the Bible already explains. I'd rather believe there is a God and die and if there isn't I will then lose nothing but if there is a God and Creator and I've argued to people he isn't then I lose alot. Think it over friend. Are you really sure about denying God? The evidence is against you. The Bible, the only Holy written word of God explains all things past, present and future. There is no excuse for not having the knowledge, it's there.
