Dailies Contact Lenses

Daily contacts question?

Can I wear my daily disposable contact lenses for, lets say, a few hours, then take them out and store them in solution, and then go back to wearing them in the same day? Has anyone done this? Heard of this?

  3. yea you can. thats fine
  4. sure u can wear daily disposables again if fact wat the lens companies dont tell u tat u can use these same lenses for a longer period of time wid a little more care to the lenses its all a money makin scheme for them
  5. hmm. hate to dispute the other 4 posters, but this is at best debatable/disputed. daily disposables are not only designed for one single wear, but also for ONE SINGLE HANDLING EVENT. they're not designed to hold up to the stresses of removal, nor of multiple insertions. if you put them in for 4 hrs, then remove them, then re-insert them later, thats 3x as much "handling" as they were designed to withstand. its only designed for ONE insertion and NO removals. the process of removing a contact lens is hard on all lenses, especially paper-thin high-water content ones like dailies. so i say "no". its not okay IMO. but i realize there are varying opinions on this... but this statement is completely UNTRUE: "if fact wat the lens companies dont tell u tat u can use these same lenses for a longer period of time wid a little more care to the lenses its all a money makin scheme for them" NO. its not a "money making scheme" at all. thats not true. dailies are designed for one wear and one insertion. thats it.
  6. yea thats no more than a cleaning after a few hours.. it wont hurt but if they are daily contacts, the next day it will be practical to change into another pair
