Whats Better: Daily Disposable or Weekly Contact Lenses?

From your experience what would you say is better? Also, if you get hit in the face when you have contacts in and your eye swells up, how do you get them out?

1. I love love love my daily disposable contacts! Weekly, 2 week and monthly contacts are just as good. It really depends on 1. your comfort when you are wearing them and 2. how much you want to fuss with them. I love the fact that I take them out each night and throw them away. No solutions to mess with and no having to worry about storing them. As for your other question... it's a good one I never thought of. I'll have to ask the doc tomorrow when I go in...
2. dailie are better...one usage and throw it out...
3. for your eyes, dailies are ideal! you don't have to worry about cleaning, and once you use them they go into the trash! for your wallet, a weekly lens makes more sense. as long as your on a good cleaning/care routine (i recommend the CibaVision Clear Care system), these lenses have no problem making it thru their two week wear time. there are no one-week lenses, although some use their two-week lenses this way due to allergies/protein build up, etc... as for a swollen eye, if you are an experienced wearer and cannot remove the lens, then you need to see an eye care professional. they can remove the lens with minimal discomfort and without damaging or scratching your cornea.
