What is a daily life of a computer scientist like?

What is the daily life of a computer scientist (who works for a company, not a university) like? What do they really do?

2. Its boring as hell. But Easy. You look at code and fix mistakes. You right new code for new applications the company wants etc. But mostly fixing stuff. If you like sitting all day and reading code its fun!

4. We sit around in our lab coats, pontificating. Usually in Hexadecimal. Seriously though - it's just normal work. We go to meetings, decide what needs to be developed, how to do it, what end users need. Then we write code. Joke with our buddies. Go for a walk outside at break time. Design some things, get on conference calls discussing stuff. Go have lunch. Do more work, answer emails. Go home at 5 or 6 to our families.
5. When you have a bachelors/masters in computer science, you usually get a job programming. It can vary a lot, but usually It's a pretty comfortable job. Depending on the job, you can be free to make a lot of decisions and make the program mostly in your image, or it can be vary strict and you are doled out small tasks. Usually, a designer makes the choices of how the program will be to the user. You may also go to meetings and such, and working with other programmers on a team is very common.
