Would I be suitable for laser eye surgery?
I am no longer allowed to wear contact lenses because i got ulcerative keratitis (ulcers that form on your cornea caused by wearing lenses too long or not cleaning them properly) and for me wearing glasses isnt an option as i generally hate them although i need them. Because i have scarring on my right eye and i also have blepharitis will these mean that i wont be able to get laser eye surgery as ive been couting on getting it for ages now and soon il be old enough. Thanks.

- they give free evaluations...............get checked......
- it always suprise me that people would ignore their health for the shake of their image even though their image is very little accredited. Put some glasses dear and be cool with that. Time will pass very soon and youll be regreting the attention you never paid to your eyes.
- Go ahead with the surgery, if you have glasses and you are not allowed to wear contacts any more then go fore it, you need your eyes more than anything, really. About that scarring thing talk to your eye doctor and see what they recommend but remember, your eyes
- NOTHING IS WRONG WIT EYE SURGUERY AN MAY BECOME BIND OR WERE SOME DECENT GLASS U PICK OUT
- I'm no doctor but I would say no because of the scarring on your right eye and the Blepharitis. I would talk to your eye doctor for more information. Hope that helped!!
- go ahead with laser surgery its great! my dad had it 3 years ago and he says its the best decision he ever made! hahah according to him you can hardley feel a thing and when you eventually come round you feel a little dizzy but nothing major. LOl he also said that your eyes will be swolen a bit for a few days but it will eventually go down. try and read a bit about it on the web. there are lots of great websites out there. hope i helped beth x
- i think you can, if the doctor says u can than yea, if your doctors say it's fine than i guess you can.
- From what you have explained it seems unlikely that laser eye surgery would be the best option. However you really should go for two or three consultations with different laser eye surgeries before making a decision. Remember also that having laser eye surgery does not guarantee that you will never again need to wear spectacles.
